Asphalt and Paving Services

Vern Perry Asphalt Paving is equipped to do small and large paving projects including but not limited to: asphalt patching, installing new asphalt, ADA upgrades, removing, grading and replacing decomposed asphalt. We also offer concrete repairs and/or replacement and paver stone installations.

We also install Petromat® Paving Fabric, overlay the mat fabric with asphalt, and create one of the finest, longest lasting surfaces available today.

Upon completion of the asphalt phase, we provide seal coating for aesthetics and maintenance to prolong the life of the new surface, thus reducing future repairs and needless expenses.

We can then complete the project with striping layouts, letter stencils e.g. Handicapped, Enter, Exit, directional arrows, red/blue curbing, etc. per client specifications. Signage, wheel stop and bollard installations.

Government guidelines are carefully monitored so that we adhere to and stay well informed of codes and the ever changing laws affecting the paving industry.

Vern Perry Asphalt Paving – Staff Qualifications

Each member of our asphalt crew is thoroughly trained by Vern Perry or the superintendent, Ricardo Rene' Lopez. Mr. Lopez has been with the company for 41 years.

All personnel have undergone injury and illness prevention training and attend weekly safety meetings to comply with CAL-OSHA requirements. They've also gone through API (Safe Work Practices for Petroleum Facilities) and Shell Annual Training.

Vern Perry establishes a safe, accident free working environment by following the philosophy of "SAFETY IS FIRST". Site specific health and safety plans are individually developed and meetings are held on site prior to commencing work.
